Judge Andrew Napolitano: Nobody Can Accept Attorney General Lynch is Neutral in Clinton Case
Former President Bill Clinton is married to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton has long been under criminal investigation by employees of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) — an agency administered by Lynch’s Department of Justice. Cutting to the chase, Napolitano concludes, “The appearance of impropriety is so profound; no one could accept that [Lynch] is now neutral in this case.”
The FBI investigations relate to Clinton’s handling of emails and confidential US government information during Clinton’s time as secretary of state in the Barack Obama administration. Lynch is expected to play a significant role in deciding whether these investigations result in prosecuting Clinton for espionage and, potentially, other legal violations.
