Judge Napolitano: Bundy Ranch Protestors’ Line in the Sand Stops Thieving Feds
Judge Andrew Napolitano, speaking Monday with Stuart Varney on Fox Business, explains the significance of the United States government backing off its raid of the Bundy ranch in Nevada after “suffering such a terrible PR loss” from its confrontation with protestors, explaining...

Washington's Outrageous Ukraine Double Standards
The Washington foreign policy establishment is furious. Protesters in eastern Ukraine, who feel threatened by the US-backed government in Kiev that has cancelled Russian-language television programming and installed oligarchs to rule over them, have poured out into main squares in many major eastern Ukrainian cities. Some have stormed government buildings and taken control of them. They favor a more federalized Ukraine, where more political decisions are made locally rather than dictated from the unelected rulers in Kiev.

Ron Paul: US Threatens Challengers to Dollar Hegemony
In a commentary available to view from his Ron Paul Channel, RPI Chairman Ron Paul explains how the US has targeted any country that threaten to use currencies other than dollars with which to conduct international commerce. In Libya, Iraq, Iran, and elsewhere, says Dr. Paul, challenge the dollar as world reserve currency and you will risk regime change or outright invasion by the US military. Russia's threats to explore a barter or other systems that challenge the US dollar may well be behind the US push to apply sanctions and place NATO on a war footing, he says.

Lew Rockwell's Pessimistic Optimism
Today the US media is entirely the spokesmen for the government, said RPI Board Member Lew Rockwell on the Ben Swann radio show yesterday. Every country not totally controlled by the US must be destroyed, and the media is out front to provide propaganda for the empire. At the same time, Rockwell -- the ultimate optimist -- sees so much to cheer as entrepreneurs and small free market practitioners continue to find new ways to thrive amidst the oppressive government controls. He says that through his Mises Institute he comes into contact with so many young people who are so well-read and so astute, and who have in common that they do not believe the government lies. He is, though a short-term pessimist, a long-term optimist.

How the State Department Spends Your Money
The US State Department under Secretary John Kerry has become a laughingstock. While Spokesperson Jen Psaki occupies herself by Tweeting mindless "selfies," her boss's "social media" team are busy putting together incomprehensible platitudes like the below. Can anyone in his right mind explain what this is supposed to mean? Are there any grown-ups left at the State Department?

'Foot-in-Mouth' Kerry's Nixonian Blunder
The US and EU appear incapable of distinguishing between action and reaction. The coup they backed in Kiev against the elected government has thrown off the delicate balance in Ukraine and left the pro-Russia eastern portion of the country feeling threatened.

Ron Paul: 'Hands Off Raw Milk!'
To Ron Paul, the raw milk issue is a matter of personal freedom, and he is very pleased that Rep. Thomas Massie has introduced two bills -- one quite sweeping and the other more incremental -- that would make it easier for individuals to make their own decisions about what kinds of food they would prefer to consume.
