With the second round of Syria peace talks scheduled for this weekend, the United States is still strongly objecting to any proposal to bring the Assad government together with moderate rebel factions to discuss political solutions to the ongoing slaughter. According to the US State Department it is "premature" for any talks between the Syrian government and rebels. In an interview, RPI Director Daniel McAdams says, "let's be frank: the US is still completely dedicated to regime change in Syria, and that is where the road block is to further progress." read on...
Are the Russians coming to Syria to save the day? After more than a year of US bombing, ISIS seems to not have suffered much. Meanwhile the US maintains that it officially still demands regime change in Syria, even as US Secretary of State John Kerry hinted last week that it might accept Assad in power as part of a transitional government. In Washington's corridors of foreign policy power, the neocons and left-interventionist political appointees are in full battle with more seasoned diplomats. The Obama Administration seems at war with itself. RPI Director Daniel McAdams joins RT's Crosstalk to discuss latest developments in Syria... read on...
Is Samantha Power an excellent US ambassador to the United Nations? Is she putting America's best foot forward? RPI Executive Director Daniel McAdams joins veteran journalist Patrick Smith and former US intelligence community linguist Scott Rickard to discuss how "human rights" has been weaponized to push regime change overseas... read on...
The US still claims Russia bears some or all of the responsibility for the shootdown of Malaysian Airlines flight MH-17 last July, however the Obama Administration still has not released any information to back its claims. Yesterday a resolution to set up a UN tribunal to investigate the crash was vetoed by Russia, which prompted the US to again suggest that Russia was behind the attack. What do we know and what should we know now that a whole year has passed since the tragedy? The Liberty Report discusses the issue with former CIA officer Phil Giraldi... read on...

Will US media propaganda turn the current majority in favor of the agreement to a majority opposed? What happens if the US backs out of the deal? Will the other major powers facing increased economic trade with Iran follow the US back down the path of sanctions? Tune in to today's Ron Paul Liberty Report... read on...
On today's Liberty Report, Ron Paul sits down with co-host (and RPI Director) Daniel McAdams to explain his new book, Swords into Plowshares. Why did he write such personal book about war? Do the fires of liberty still burn in an America that revolted against the British crown in 1776? Perhaps the majority have opted for a new overlord, the omnipotent state and its accompanying American exceptionalism, but there remains, in the words of Samuel Adams, a "tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Today's Ron Paul Liberty Report on the spirit of revolt against tyranny... read on...
California Governor Jerry Brown signed into law one of the nation's strongest mandatory vaccination laws. If a California resident does not agree to have her child jabbed some 48 times by school-age, the child cannot attend school. The exemption loopholes have been all but closed. Today the Ron Paul Liberty Report looks at both the medical and the civil liberties implications of this move -- a move comedian Jim Carrey called "corporate fascist." read on...
President Obama will officially restore full diplomatic relations with Cuba today, in what is one bright spot in his otherwise not very encouraging foreign policy. Talks with Iran are the other positive. But as always, the devil is in the details. State-to-state relations are one thing, but for really "normal" relations what is needed is person-to-person relations. That means an end to the embargo and the travel ban. Let's hope that is on its way soon and that Congress doesn't obstruct the reversal of this half-century disaster. More on US-Cuba relations on today's Ron Paul Liberty Report... read on...
With their plans for regime change in Syria not working out as planned, the neocons are desperately looking around for another hare-brained scheme to sell. From recently floated trial balloons, it looks like they are looking to push a tactical alliance with al-Qaeda to defeat Assad and ISIS. Did they forget about 9/11? More in today's Liberty Report... read on...
