Ron Paul Reports Ukraine Story the Mainstream Media is Suppressing

RPI Chairman and Founder Ron Paul, over at the Ron Paul Channel, reports this week in a 14 minutes video the story behind the conflict in Ukraine. Paul also criticizes biases in how mainstream television programs cover the conflict, saying “they're part of the banking system, they're part of the military-industrial complex, they're part of an educational system that endorses perpetual intervention overseas.” The full video is viewable without the subscription usually required for Ron Paul Channel videos.

In the video, Paul notes the hypocrisy of the United States government condemning Russia for violating Ukraine sovereignty while the United States has been invading countries, taking sides in revolutionary conflicts including in Ukraine, and interfering in elections around the world. Paul notes that, while many people around the world recognize this hypocrisy, “the propaganda here, in order to get the American people satisfied, is to say ‘they are the bad guys and we are the angels’”

America Agrees With Ron Paul on Ukraine

Last week, just as the US-backed rebels were overthrowing the government in Ukraine, RPI founder Ron Paul advised the US government to stop meddling in Ukraine. In "Leave Ukraine Alone," Dr. Paul warned about the interventionists who "keep pushing their own agenda for Ukraine behind the scenes, even as they ridicule anyone who claims US involvement."

How right he was. Since his column, the Ukrainian government has been overthrown and an unelected group claims to rule the country, the Russian-speaking half of the country rejected these new "rulers," Russia was warned of intervention "red lines" by President Obama, Russian President Putin requested and was granted permission to use the Russian military in areas of Ukraine where Russians are threatened, and the world moved closer to a major war than it has been for perhaps a half-century.

Ron Paul Goes Off The Grid...With Jesse Ventura!

RPI Chairman Ron Paul joins Jesse Ventura for a segment of Ventura's edgy "Off the Grid" broadcast. Dr. Paul discusses President Obama's State of the Union speech -- and particularly the president's threat to expand his use of executive orders if Congress does not back the president's agenda.

"What will Congress do about it," says Dr. Paul of the president's threat. "Do you think the Republican leadership, the John Boehners of the world will stand up to him?"

Ron Paul: Rein In Obama or Suffer the Consequences

Speaking with host Neil Cavuto on Fox Business, RPI Chairman and Founder Ron Paul addresses President Barack Obama’s distressing emphasis in the State of the Union Speech on expanding presidential power and using executive orders to bypass the Congress. While Paul grants that presidents for a long time have chosen to “go around the Congress,” he explains that “nobody has been so blatant about this” as has Obama. “If we don’t take fair warning -- we the people as well as the Congress -- to rein in this president, then we’re going to suffer the consequences,” says Paul.

Ron Paul on the “Total Failure” of US Intervention in Iraq

Speaking with Charles Goyette during their weekly podcast conversation on Friday, RPI Chairman and Founder Ron Paul details the “total failure” of the United States government’s decades-long intervention in Iraq.

Paul also addresses the George W. Bush Administration’s machinations to use the September 11, 2001 attacks as a “Pearl Harbor event” to justify the second invasion of Iraq, as well as the beating of “drums of war” in Congress to approve that 2003 invasion.

Ron Paul and Stephen Kinzer: The History of Interventionism

RP Kinzer

Today on the Ron Paul Channel, Dr. Paul interviews Stephen Kinzer, author of the fascinating new book on the Dulles brothers and their interventionist rampage through the 1950s.

As Kinzer tells Dr. Paul in the interview, the Dulles brothers -- John Foster as Secretary of State and Allen as CIA Director -- never paused for a moment to consider that the operations they were launching would have "huge terrible implications for American security, decades and even generations later."

From Iran to Iraq to Egypt to Syria to China to Africa to every hot spot we see in the news today, the Dulles brothers, with the blessing of President Eisenhower, inserted their covert and overt fingers. The brothers literally overflowed with their deep faith in American exceptionalism and the need to remake the world in their own image.
