President Trump Tweeted yesterday that the Russians may actually want to help the Democrats in the coming midterm elections because he's been far harder on Russia than the Democrats have. More bluster or is he now running even more enthusiastically with the Beltway obsession with Russia meddling in our lives? RPI Director Daniel McAdams comments on this and on how we might actually work to fix our broken electoral system. Should President Trump pull security clearances of former senior intelligence officials? Finally, what will the fallout be from President Trump's announcement that he will invite Russian president Putin to Washington this year... read on...

President Trump sent out a red-hot Tweet last night threatening Iran with destruction if it does not stop threatening the US over US threats to change the Iranian regime. Round and round it goes, with the well-funded neocon think tanks pushing ever-harder for a US attack. Trump's Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is extremely close to one of the most bellicose of these, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, which is staffed by many of the same people who gave us the disastrous 2003 war on Iraq. Is Trump being misled by his ill-chosen advisors...or are his war cries all his own? Tune in to today's Liberty Report... read on...
At the now-famous Helsinki press conference with Presidents Trump and Putin the name of a former US businessman, Bill Browder, came up as a person of interest to the Russian president. Let's make a deal, he said: you can come to Moscow and question the 12 GRU officers you accuse of hacking the DNC computers and we'll question Bill Browder and a group of other businessmen who had done business in Moscow. And the former US ambassador to Moscow. While the usual suspects shrieked at such a deal, many wondered what was wrong with trying to get to the bottom of the indictments and "Russiagate." So what's the deal with Browder? RPI's Daniel McAdams spoke to RT America about the former hedge fund operator who reportedly gave up his US citizenship to avoid US taxes and is wanted in Moscow for tax avoidance... read on...
A new Gallup poll may spell trouble for Democrats hoping to cash in on what they believe is an anti-Russia feeling among American voters. The percentage of people who believe that Russia is a great threat to the United States is so low that it is almost unmeasurable. People are most concerned about the bad quality of government and about immigration. The elites continue to obsess about things that the average voters could not care less about. And they think this time it will pay off? More in today's Liberty Report... read on...

American media, pundits, and politicians’ condemnation of United States President Donald Trump meeting this week with Russia President Vladimir Putin is deafening. Russia scholar Stephen F. Cohen presented a powerful analysis of this reaction in an interview with host Tucker Carlson at Fox News. “The reaction by most of the media, by the Democrats, by the anti-Trump people, is like mob violence,” Cohen says to start off his insightful analysis. read on...
Though Ron Paul ran for president three times and served in the United House of Representatives, he does not put his hope in politicians. In a new in-depth interview with host Patrick Bet-David at Valuetainment, Paul argues that education is key for moving toward greater respect for liberty. In contrast, says Paul, politicians are “very unimportant overall long term.” Paul explains that he believes changing people’s views is “the only thing that counts” given that “the government that we have is a reflection of the prevailing attitudes of the people.” Change the people’s views and you change government. read on...
