Dennis Kucinich Announces His Candidacy for Cleveland Mayor

In May, I wrote about Dennis Kucinich, known across America for his work in the United States House of Representatives and two runs for the Democratic nomination for US president, being in the lead in polling for the Cleveland, Ohio, mayor race. At the time, Kucinich had not yet announced his candidacy.

Susan Ashbrook, RIP

It is is with deep personal sadness that I must announce the death of a former Ron Paul Congressional staffer from down here in Dr. Paul's old Congressional district, TX-14. Susan Ashbrook died yesterday of a heart attack after a long illness. As Dr. Paul's aide in Washington for Veterans Affairs, I worked on a regular basis with Susan. I cannot tell you how much I learned from her about the way the US government treats young men and women who sign up to serve their country in the US military.

Everyone Should Take the Experimental Coronavirus Vaccines? Nope.

A multitude of politicians and people in the media have been saying everyone should take experimental coronavirus vaccines, some of which are not even vaccines under the normal meaning of the term. In presenting this plea, many of these individuals have repeatedly described the experimental coronavirus vaccine shots as safe, despite the fact sheets for the vaccines at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website having indicated all along that, rather than being safe, the shots carry many known health risks, as well as unknown risks because of incomplete and rushed testing

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Versus the US Government’s Effort to Impose Vaccine Passports for Cruises

Florida has been the primary embarkation location in America for cruises. It is thus a big deal that Ron DeSantis, the state’s governor, is fighting against the United States government’s effort, undertaken via demands placed on cruise lines, to impose vaccine passport requirements for passengers boarding cruises leaving from Florida.

The US government’s effort is aimed at ensuring that all or nearly all cruise passengers show proof that they have taken experimental coronavirus vaccine shots in order to board ships in America. If DeSantis prevails in Florida, hopefully the US government’s vaccine passports scheme for cruises will fail across the country.

Life Insurance and Covid-19; Something Doesn’t Make Sense

You would think that during the worst Pandemic since the 1918 Spanish Flu life insurance companies would be hedging their bets to avoid major losses from Covid-19. I haven’t written a life policy for several years so I was wondering what was going on? I called one of the brokers I deal with that interacts with hundreds of big life insurers to get an inside look into how the Covid crisis has changed their business.

Dallas Schools Are Busing Students to Coronavirus Vaccine Injection Sites

Driving several times over the last week by a large, and lately virtually bereft of visitors, outdoor site for administering coronavirus tests and experimental coronavirus vaccine shots in Dallas, Texas, I was surprised to see school buses on the premises. In the well over a hundred times I had driven by the site before, I had never seen school buses there.

A Pantry Full of Marijuana

Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed into law on Thursday legislation that doubles to two ounces the amount of marijuana individuals age 21 and older may legally possess in the state. This is a welcome expansion of respect for the freedom of people in Colorado.
