Is It A Crime To Insult the Police?

Arena, Wisconsin is a village of roughly 800 people, most of whom are white, politically liberal, and materially comfortable. Despite having a very low crime rate, the village has a police department that, like every other, exists primarily to collect revenue.

Two years ago, police arrested three “out-of-state juvenile males” on suspicion of burglarizing a business. Two of the suspects “were detained by residents until law enforcement arrived,” the department noted in its Facebook page. The three unfamiliar black men were conspicuous in a tiny village with a nearly all-white population, and by the time the police arrived all of the difficult work had been done. Perhaps as a way to compensate for its deserved sense of worthlessness, the Arena PD arrested someone whose only role in this affair was to publish a derisive remark on the department’s Facebook page.

Is Brzezinski Pushing Ethnic Cleansing for Eastern Ukraine?

Zbig

Global chessboard enthusiast Zbigniew Brzezinski has a plan for Ukraine. In a recent speech to the Woodrow Wilson Center, excerpted by the Atlantic Council, he argues forcefully in favor of the United States providing the Ukrainian military far more weapons.

Under the guise of preventing a Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has been the rallying cry of those who seek more US involvement in the region, Brzezinski believes that the US must provide Ukraine with enough weapons to deter Russian aggression toward Ukraine.

The odds of defending against the invading Russian military being very low, Brzezinski has a different idea of how the US should arm the Kiev government.

Said the former National Security Advisor:
I feel that we should make it clear to the Ukrainians that if they are determined to resist, as they say they are and seemingly they are trying to do so (albeit not very effectively), we will provide them with anti-tank weapons, hand-held anti-tank weapons, hand-held rockets—weapons capable for use in urban short range fighting.
The US must provide urban warfare equipment to the Kiev government, he says, in order to forestall the impending Russian invasion.

'Your Tax Money to Arm The Jihad': Ron Paul Speaks With Charles Goyette

Don't miss Ron Paul's discussion with Charles Goyette this week. Dr. Paul points out the foolishness of arming jihadists in one country and feigning surprise when they attack a different country. It started with US funding the mujahideen in Afghanistan, where al-Qaeda was the beneficiary. Then, the US supported the ISIS to overthrow the secular in Syria only to be "surprised" when they attack the US-backed Maliki government  in Iraq.

Judge Andrew Napolitano: No New US War in Iraq

Speaking Thursday on Fox News, RPI Advisory Board Member Andrew Napolitano explains that the United States government engaging in another war in Iraq would be contrary to US national interests as was the US invading and making war on Iraq in 2003. That prior Iraq war, Napolitano notes, destabilized Iraq and cost America much in lost lives and money. Napolitano adds that “the American public will not tolerate another war.”
