Even a Military-Enforced Quarantine Can’t Stop the Virus, Study Reveals

undefined

The New England Journal of Medicine has published a study that goes to the heart of the issue of lockdowns. The question has always been whether and to what extent a lockdown, however extreme, is capable of suppressing the virus. If so, you can make an argument that at least lockdowns, despite their astronomical social and economic costs, achieve something. If not, nations of the world have embarked on a catastrophic experiment that has destroyed billions of lives, and all expectation of human rights and liberties, with no payoff at all.

How Russiagate Ruined Everything

How did the Russiagate hoax feed into the Covid hoax and then feed into the Election hoax? RPI Director Daniel McAdams ties them all together in this speech to the Mises Institute's recent Lake Jackson Seminar with Ron Paul. "All of a sudden the tweets are gone, the Facebook is gone, the media is gone. Only crazy people are questioning the most pristine — the most perfect — election of all time."

The return of the Obama ‘adults’ in a Joe Biden administration is likely to spell ruin for America

undefined

The US establishment, and the world, has spent the last four years trying to adapt to the disruptive policies of a childish president. Now the Democrats’ "adult" leadership team will return. Watch out, folks.

To those watching the drama unfolding in Washington, DC around the stalled efforts on the part of nominal President-elect Joe Biden in forming a transition team, the parallels are eerily familiar: a bitterly contested election between an establishment political figure and a brash DC "outsider’," a controversial outcome delaying the implementation of the transition between administrations, and an openly condescending atmosphere where the incoming team postured as comprising a return to "adult" leadership.

That time was December 2000, when a Republican team led by President-elect George W. Bush stood ready to install a cabinet composed of veteran spies, diplomats, and national security managers who had cut their policy teeth during the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. With Colin Powell as secretary of state, Donald Rumsfeld as secretary of defense, George Tenet as director of central intelligence, and Condoleezza Rice as national security advisor, the foreign policy and national security team that Dubya surrounded himself with upon assuming the presidency was as experienced a team as one could imagine.

And yet, within two years of assuming their responsibilities, this team of “adults” had presided over the worst terrorist attack in American history, and the initiation of two wars (in Afghanistan and Iraq) that would forever change both the geopolitical map of the world and America’s role as world leader.

What is John Brennan So Worried About?

undefinedundefined

Former CIA Director John Brennan is apparently so worried that Donald Trump might release certain classified intelligence that he suggested this week that Vice President Mike Pence and the cabinet remove Trump via the 25th amendment.

Brennan appeared this week on both CNN and MSNBC to spread alarm about what Trump might do as he continues to contest the election results and appoints new people at Defense, NSA (and possibly CIA) who may do his bidding.

Brennan warned on CNN that it was “very, very worrisome” that Trump “is just very unpredictable now … like a cornered cat — tiger. And he’s going to lash out.”

Brennan told MSNBC he was worried that Trump has called for the “wholesale declassification of intelligence in order to further his own political interests.”

Whom would he lash out at and what classified documents might Brennan be referring to?

Neocons Poised to Join New Government

undefined

Donald Trump was much troubled during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns by so-called conservatives who rallied behind the #NeverTrump banner, presumably in opposition to his stated intention to end or at least diminish America’s role in wars in the Middle East and Asia. Those individuals are generally described as neoconservatives but the label is itself somewhat misleading and they might more properly be described as liberal warmongers as they are closer to the Democrats than the Republicans on most social issues and are now warming up even more as the new Joe Biden Administration prepares to take office.

Elections and Legitimacy

undefined

This year’s presidential election is the fourth since 2000 to be marred by either widespread allegations of voter fraud or of foreign interference. Politicians and pundits have long counted on elections to wave a magic wand of legitimacy over the reign of whoever is designated the winner. But Americans are increasingly wondering if the endlessly-trumped “consent of the governed” has become simply another sham to keep them paying and obeying.

Twenty years ago, America was in the throes of a fiercely disputed recount battle in Florida. Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Al Gore won the national popular vote but the Electoral College verdict was unclear. Florida’s 25 electoral votes would give either Gore or Republican candidate George W. Bush the 270 votes needed to win the presidency. Six million votes were cast in Florida, and Bush initially had a winning margin of 537 votes. But the count was a complete mess.

Some Florida counties had antiquated voting equipment while others had harebrained ballot designs that confounded voters, resulting in “dangling chads,” “butterfly” ballots, and other unclear preferences. After the Florida Supreme Court ordered a manual recount of disputed votes in all counties, the Bush campaign legal team quickly filed briefs with the Supreme Court seeking to stop the process.

Ex-CIA Director John Brennan: Biting Fingernails for Next 70 Days — or Maybe Less

undefined

Siamese twins John Brennan/David Ignatius teamed up yesterday to show, clearly if unwittingly, why the former CIA director is biting his nails to the bone. Would Trump release sensitive information exposing what actually happened with Russia-gate? Oops.

Remember: NSA intercepts EVERYTHING electronic; so all Trump has to do is to have the new Acting Secretary of Defense ORDER the NSA director to release materials spelling out chapter and verse on the R-gate cabal headed by Brennan, Comey, and Clapper.

Don’t be misled; virtually all of it can be released with ZERO danger to intelligence “sources and methods”. But release won’t happen, of course, if Trump confines himself to whining to Fox News — or if he simply “authorizes” release of that key information (he’s already done that — to no effect).

What Brennan fears is that Trump might wake up one day to find that someone has written on his mirror, “Hey, I thought YOU were the president.” At that point there would be an outside chance he might act like one.

Not Over Till It's Over: Trump Gaining Traction With Legal Vote Challenge?

President Trump's efforts to ensure a fair election process have been demonized by virtually every mainstream media outlet. Even Republicans have by and large abandoned him.
