The Chicken Little Act Isn't Working – COVID Mania is Wearing Off

undefined

The “public health experts” are scrambling to remain in the spotlight, and even their most reliable scare tactics are failing to keep the masses compliant, paranoid, and afraid. For the “public health” cartel, 2020 was the best year of their lives, and it seems that after one year of “two weeks to slow the spread,” they just can’t muster up the momentum needed to replicate that power high.

They Said Things Would Be Much Worse in States without Lockdowns. They Were Wrong.

undefined

Like nearly all US states, Georgia imposed a stay-at-home order in March 2020 in response to demands from public health officials claiming a stay-at-home order would lessen total deaths from covid-19.

But unlike most states, Georgia ended its stay-at-home order after only five weeks, and proceeded to lower other restrictions quickly.

The legacy media responded with furious opposition. For example, an article in The Atlantic declared the end of Georgia’s lockdown to be an “experiment in human sacrifice.” The Guardian approvingly quoted one Georgian who insisted the end of the stay-at-home order was “reckless, premature and dangerous.”

A few weeks later, other states began to end their stay-at-home orders and to end other restrictions as well. Florida was the largest among these states.

Shortly thereafter the Daily Beast declared that the scaling back of restrictions in Georgia and Florida was “terrifyingly premature,” and quoted one expert who insisted, “If you lift the restriction too soon, a second wave will come, and the damage will be substantial both medically and economically. We don’t want to throw away the sacrifices we have made for weeks now."

Biden’s tough-guy flexing at ‘soulless killer’ Putin would be funny if the consequences weren’t so serious

undefined

Joe Biden’s effort to label Vladimir Putin as a “soulless killer” is the latest in a series of fact-free allegations that define US-Russian relations today. The real aim is to make Biden look like the strong leader he isn’t.

Former President Donald Trump was fond of bragging about how tough he was when it came to Russia. “There’s never been a president as tough on Russia as I have been,” Trump crowed in 2018. He wasn’t wrong—according to Daniel Vajdich, a senior analyst with the Atlantic Council, the Trump administration was “much tougher on Russia than any in the post-Cold War era.” Despite the tough reality of his Russian policy, however, Trump was not opposed to bettering relations, publicly proclaiming that “it would be great if we could get along with Russia.”

As for his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump has noted that “I like Putin, he likes me.” Indeed, Marina Gross, the State Department interpreter who worked on many of the calls between Trump and Putin, has reportedly said that “listening to their conversations often felt like eavesdropping on two friends chatting in a bar.” Indeed, Trump famously bristled at Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, who said of the Russian president, “Putin’s a killer.” Trump responded, “There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers. What, do you think our country’s so innocent?”

President Biden has made it clear that he plans to deal with Russia in a far more aggressive manner than his predecessor. Moreover, there would be no more talk about “friendship” or “getting along.” In a recent interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, Biden was given a bite from the same apple O’Reilly had offered Trump. “So, you know Vladimir Putin,” Stephanopoulos asked. “You think he’s a killer?” Without a moment’s hesitation, Biden responded, “Mmm-hmm, I do.”

Pushing Mandates and Fear while Suppressing Self-help and Strength in the Coronavirus Panic

undefined

There are plenty of things people can do on their own to protect themselves from coronavirus, as well as many other health threats. Self-help has long been one of the most important avenues to enhancing health and countering illness. It works fine without the need to rely on any government edicts such as stay at home orders, business shutdown and capacity limit orders, social distancing and mask mandates, and vaccine passport requirements.

Politicians, bureaucrats, and big money media people have repeatedly pushed a different course over the last year, telling people over and over during the coronavirus panic to “wear a mask,” “keep six feet distance,” “stay home,” and “take the vaccine.” These demands all fall in line with increasing government power at the expense of freedom and, especially in the case of vaccines, pursuing huge government spending programs that benefits powerful special interests.

In contrast, we hardly ever hear politicians, bureaucrats, and big money media saying we should “take vitamins,” “eat healthier foods,” “lose weight,” or “get enough sleep.” Why not? All these actions can help people improve their health, including by strengthening their immune systems’ ability to protect them from coronavirus. As a bonus, a person with improved health and immune system will be in a better position to fend off other diseases and to enjoy life more fully.

Tucker Vs. Pentagon: Is The Military A Social Justice Factory?

Fox News Host Tucker Carlson ignited a firestorm last week when he questioned the use of pregnant women as fighter pilots. Though his comments focused on readiness, he was immediately slammed - and even threatened - by official Pentagon social media accounts for "denigrating" women in the military. Are "woke" senior military officers more interested in waging war against non-"woke" Americans, or preparing to defend this country? Watch today's Liberty Report...

Media Are (Finally) Starting to Reconsider Florida's Pandemic Strategy

undefined

In July, Adam Weinstein of The New Republic wrote that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was leading Americans “on a Death March” by not embracing the same COVID-19 restrictions as many other US states.

“Keeping churches open—as well as beaches, restaurants, and dividend-yielding commerce—has been a big priority for Ron DeSantis,” wrote Weinstein. “DeSantis has resisted calls from medical experts and Florida residents to return to quarantine measures or shutdowns of nonessential businesses.”

Weinstein wrote that DeSantis, instead of listening to the experts, was simply encouraging residents to behave responsibly, which Weinstein called a “libertarian-dreamer gambit.” Such an approach, he wrote, made DeSantis an accomplice to murder and perhaps even genocide.

“As I write this, the virus has killed 44 times more Americans than died on 9/11,” Weinstein wrote. “Eventually, many of our political leaders will be seen for what they are in this: witting accomplices to homicide on a scale that Republicans might call genocide, if they watched it unfold in another country.”

Digital Trails: How the FBI Is Identifying, Tracking and Rounding Up Dissidents

undefined

Databit by databit, we are building our own electronic concentration camps.

With every new smart piece of smart technology we acquire, every new app we download, every new photo or post we share online, we are making it that much easier for the government and its corporate partners to identify, track and eventually round us up.

Saint or sinner, it doesn’t matter because we’re all being swept up into a massive digital data dragnet that does not distinguish between those who are innocent of wrongdoing, suspects, or criminals.

This is what it means to live in a suspect society.

The government’s efforts to round up those who took part in the Capitol riots shows exactly how vulnerable we all are to the menace of a surveillance state that aspires to a God-like awareness of our lives.

Relying on selfies, social media posts, location data, geotagged photos, facial recognition, surveillance cameras and crowdsourcing, government agents are compiling a massive data trove on anyone and everyone who may have been anywhere in the vicinity of the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
