'Public Health Experts' in government & academia have exposed themselves as clueless charlatans

undefined

There’s one thing that the “public health expert” class is certain about these days.

They claim to have the “the tools” to stop this coronavirus. But the thing about these “tools” is that they require blind faith in order to work, since every observable metric shows that they’ve failed in catastrophic fashion.

It’s time to acknowledge some strikingly clear realities about COVID Mania:

We are now almost two full years into our population-wide “public health expert”-managed COVID tyranny, and it has not exactly paid dividends for anyone other than the people in charge, who have catapulted to a life of fame and prestige.

Using Assange to Send a Three-Part Message

undefined

When Julian Assange and Wikileaks disclosed evidence of dark-side activity, including war crimes, on the part of the US national-security establishment, US officials felt they had no choice but to use Assange to send a three-part message.

The first message is to people within the national-security establishment who might be tempted, out of a crisis of conscience, to reveal dark-side activities of the national-security establishment. By doing everything they could to destroy Assange’s life and even maybe bring about his death, the national-security establishment sends a powerful message to would-be leakers: “This is what will happen to you if you disclose our dark-side secrets to the American people. We will hunt you down, we will persecute you, we will prosecute you, we will destroy you, and we might even kill you.”

How many people within the national-security establishment are willing to undergo that price for revealing dark-side secrets of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA? I’d venture to say not very many at all.

The Year of the New Normal Fascist

undefined

And so, as 2021 goose-steps toward its fanatical finish, it is time for my traditional year-end wrap-up. It’s “The Year of the Ox” in the Chinese zodiac, but I’m christening it “The Year of the New Normal Fascist.”

Airline CEOs: Masks Add Little If Anything To Safety

CEOs of Southwest Airlines and American Airlines testified before Congress this week that forcing people to wear masks on board their planes does little if anything to prevent spread of the virus. As predicted, Dem Members freaked out after hearing this blow to their deep faith. Also today...Cornell University closes again after new outbreak...among fully vaxxed. Navy begins booting unvaxxed sailors. South African health authorities can't figure out why US and Europe are locking down again over Omicron. Today on the Liberty Report...

Schoolchildren's lives have been destroyed. Any lessons learned?

undefined

It is now an incontrovertible fact that closing or opening schools had zero bearing on the course of the pandemic or the safety of children who were never at an elevated risk from this pandemic. It’s clear from schools reopening during the worst Delta wave with no extra repercussions that all of the academic, mental health, physical health, and behavior development problems we foisted upon the children were absolutely senseless. This, despite the fact that so many of us knew this for months on end, but our cries fell on deaf ears.

Blues for Jimmy Duncan

undefined

Were Pulitzer Prize-winning “author” John F. Kennedy — I mean Ted Sorensen — to write Profiles in Courage today, taking his subjects from the contemporary political world, his pickings would be mighty slim. I suppose he might produce one of those comically brief novelty books, à la Steve Miller’s Higher Poetics or Hot Stuff by Mamie Eisenhower.

For my part, I can’t think of a sharper modern political profile in courage than that cut by Tennessee Republican John J.“Jimmy” Duncan, Jr., who represented Knoxville in the US House of Representatives for thirty years before his retirement in 2019.

Jimmy — full disclosure: I am a friend and admirer — was one of the six brave and prescient House Republicans who resisted intense lobbying by George W. Bush and his lying courtiers and the braying of jingoes to vote against the US invasion of Iraq in October 2002.

Given that the architects of this catastrophe paid no price whatsoever — that will have to wait for the afterlife — and the Republican politicians who gutlessly caved to Bush went right on being reelected, and the talking heads who squealed with delight over the rockets’ red glare experienced none of the discomforts of life during wartime, the least we can do for that noble sextet is to say their names: Jimmy Duncan, John Hostettler, Amory Houghton, Jim Leach, Connie Morella, Ron Paul.

The Price of Wokeness is Stupidity

undefined

One of the great things about not being obsessed with racism is not having to go through the mental twisty turns required to see racism in everything. Of course not being obsessed with racism still allows me to understand that racism has played a sordid role in our country’s history. I can understand anger and the sting of discrimination because I, too, am a human being. But I don’t have to pretend moving from New Jersey to Manhattan to find a new job was for a free black man in the 19th century was the same thing an Irish immigrant underwent boarding a “coffin ship” hoping to survive the journey across the Atlantic knowing his only alternative was to die of starvation amidst the Potato Famine.

That unexpected example infiltrated my life a week ago because of an article I wrote criticizing New York’s Tenement Museum for including an exhibit about a (black) person who was neither an immigrant nor lived in the tenement building the museum occupies, two of the criteria that kept the museum from telling the story of say any Haitians, Spaniards, Japanese, and blacks until now. The museum has told, magnificently, the stories of a handful of the 7,000 actual residents of its building on Orchard Street since 1988 — German, Irish, Jewish, and Italian families. I should know; I worked there as an educator in 2016, quitting after the Trump election turned the institution into some sort of woke bunker fighting imaginary fascism.

Omicron 'Shocker': It's Mostly Hitting The Vaxxed

A couple of weeks into the Omicron hysteria - where Europe has gone full totalitarian out of fear - some uncomfortable (for the lockdowners) truths are emerging: early data shows that Omicron is infecting those who are "fully vaccinated" at a much higher rate than the unvaccinated. "Experts" say that a third shot of the same stuff will do the trick, but amid the ongoing collapse of Biden's vax mandates in the US, the uptake is understandably anemic. Also today: Segregation in Denver, Amtrak ditches vax mandate, and NY counties tell the vax-mandating governor to take a hike. Watch today's Liberty Report...

'Lancet' BLASTS 'Pandemic Of The Unvaccinated' Propaganda

A prominent German researcher has published findings in the British medical journal The Lancet his evidence that vaccinated individuals are increasingly driving infection and thus referring to a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" is harmful and unnecessary. Was it all just propaganda and fearmongering? Also today, nurses are quitting vax mandate hospitals in droves and signing up for more pay where their personal freedom is valued. And...hold off on that holiday booking to Hong Kong! Watch today's Liberty Report...
