Will Jack Teixeira Get the General Petraeus Treatment for Mishandling Classified Intelligence?

At this point Jack Teixeira is alleged to have posted classified intelligence documents to the web, but there is no direct evidence that he actually was the one who placed those documents in a chat room. That remains to be seen if the allegation, which comes from one of the members of the chat room, can be proven in court. If that cannot be proven, he still faces potential charges on mishandling classified information.

Well, what has been the U.S. Government’s policy towards those who “mishandle classified information?” I have two names for you — Sandy Berger and General David Petraeus.

Let’s start with Sandy Berger:

"Sandy Berger, who was President Clinton’s top national security aide, pleaded guilty Friday to taking classified documents from the National Archives and cutting them up with scissors."

More Unanswered Red Flags Regarding Jack Teixeira

Several former military and intelligence professionals have contacted me and voiced similar doubts about the pat story being circulated regarding National Guard Airman Jack Texeira and the allegations that he removed TOP SECRET documents from a SCIF, photographed them and then posted them to a gamer chat. They all agree, something is not right. The media account does not make sense.

The biggest oddity are the two two separate documents from the CIA’s Operations Center. Neither are complete and both deal only with the Ukrainian/Russian war. To reiterate a point from my previous article, that CIA Operations Center produces two daily reports — one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It is not a “Community” product, i.e., it is not distributed to the other intelligence agencies. It is an internal CIA document (of course, it is available to the Director of National Intelligence).

Texeira’s alleged possession of two separate reports is doubly odd because he did not copy the full reports. The one dated 1 March 2023 only shows 3 of 8 pages. If he was taking the documents to impress the youngsters on the gamer chat, why did he not take the whole enchilada? And why did he only publish the portions of the intel report that dealt exclusively with Ukraine and Russia?

Understanding the International Rules Based Disorder

Have you heard of the “International Rules Based Order?” Russia, according to Washington and NATO, is violating those rules (China too) and must be punished. We can’t have “rule breakers” mucking up global tranquility can we?

"Since 1945, the United States has pursued its global interests by building and maintaining various alliances, economic institutions, security organizations, political and liberal norms, and other tools — often collectively referred to as the international order. . . .

"Building an international order has been a formal program of US foreign policy since at least the 1940s and an aspirational goal since the nation’s founding. According to its post–World War II architects, the international order protects US values by maintaining an environment in which the ideals of a free and democratic society — like that of the United States — can flourish. The United States has used both power and idealistic notions of shared interests to underwrite the rules-based order. In this sense, it employed both hard and soft power to construct the order."

Will China Send Weapons to Russia?

Yes. I think they will. But not because Russia is running out of shells and rockets. Nope. I think China wants a chance to field test some of its weaponry and drones against a foe that shoots back in order to see how they perform in a combat environment. Firing artillery or surface-to-air missiles on a closed range does not compare with lighting them up on a bona fide battlefield.

The warnings to China to not help Russia is not new. One year ago the Biden team put out the word that:

"China will face consequences if it helps Russia evade sanctions in its invasion of Ukraine, the US says.

"Unnamed US officials told multiple news outlets that China had signalled willingness to provide military assistance to Russia.

"The Chinese foreign ministry accused the US of spreading disinformation. Russia denied asking Beijing for military help.

"The exchanges came before top US and Chinese officials met in Rome."

Media outlets, citing Washington officials, say that Russia has in recent days asked China specifically for military equipment, including drones.
Well, the Chinese ignored those unnamed officials and stepped up its cooperation and coordination with Russia.

The Biden Administration is Lying about the Chinese Balloon

Now that the hysteria surrounding the Chinese “Spy” Balloon I am hoping that logic and reason will take over and we will realize that instead of a NORAD failure that jeopardized national security, the wayward balloon was seized as an opportunity by the Biden Administration to display Biden’s prowess as a Commander in Chief on the eve of the State of the Union address. Of course the incompetents that surround the equally feckless Biden turned the incident into a dangerous clown show.

Let us start with NORAD. The Commander of NORAD admitted that he was aware of the balloon as it approached Alaska but judged it “harmless. "VanHerck said the US did have 'domain awareness' of the most recent Chinese balloon as it approached Alaska: 'It was my assessment that this balloon did not present a physical military threat to North America — this is under my NORAD hat. And therefore, I could not take immediate action because it was not demonstrating hostile act or hostile intent,' he said."

Got that? Not hostile. At that point the Biden Administration could have done a couple of things. First, call the Chinese Ambassador to the US State Department and have Secretary of State Blinken demand answers from China about its wayward balloon. Second, Secretary of Defense Austin could have called his counterpart in China and delivered the same message. Had we done this the Chinese would have been on notice that we were not asleep at the switch. But none of that happened.

Let me give you a scenario. The United States military occupies Iraq and is trying to quash an Islamic insurgency. We then discover that Iran is providing weapons, vehicles and explosives to those Islamic rebels. Do you think the United States would see that as a casus belli to retaliate against Iran? You bet your ass Washington saw this as an act of war against the United States. The George W. Bush administration started providing funding and support to a terrorist groups in Iran, the MEK, and stepped up its denunciation of Iran as a terrorist state.

Is Western Propaganda Failing?

As someone who played a minuscule role in a CIA information operation that targeted Soviet military operations in Afghanistan in November 1985, I feel somewhat qualified to comment on the mammoth propaganda campaign the United States and Europe have unleashed on Russia. I have never seen anything so perverse and so dishonest.

Let me give you a recent example. Remember this recent “news” headline?

“DUCKING FOR COVER

‘SICKLY’ PUTIN CANCELS BIGGEST SPEECH OF HIS LIFE AS FIRST RUSSIAN STATE OF NATION SINCE INVASION IS MYSTERIOUSLY AXED"


This was courtesy of the UK’s SUN. Lacking any reliable source, The SUN opted for speculation:

"VLADIMIR Putin has cancelled his state of the nation address fuelling rumours he is in hiding from the Russian people and could be in failing health.

"Putin’s spokesman finally confirmed the speech – which would be one of biggest in Vlad’s life – will not go ahead before the New Year. . . .

"It comes after the mad tyrant also cancelled his end of year press conference and his annual hockey game."

Got it? Putin is either deathly ill — suffering from Parkinsons, cancer, Irritable Bowel, etc. — or deathly afraid of having to explain the ass whooping that Ukraine is delivering to Russia. You see, Putin can’t handle tough questions. Oops!! Wait a minute. We have breaking news.

What a Coincidence!

On the very day the world learns about the sabotage of Russia’s Nordstream 1 and Nordstream 2, guess what else happened? Well, Ukrainians from the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporhyzhia and Kherson oblasts voted in overwhelming numbers to become Russians. While that is a game changer that is not what I had in mind.

How about this–Poland on Tuesday inaugurated a new pipeline that will transport gas from Norway through Denmark and the Baltic Sea? That is it!!! What a coincidence!! Or is it?

There is at least one prominent Polish citizen who believes the United States merits praise for sabotaging the Nordstream pipelines. Former former Polish Defense Minister, Radek Sikorski, who happens to be married to Anne Appelbaum, an enthusiastic neo-con masquerading as a journalist, tweeted the following upon learning that the Nordstream lines were now “złamany” (Polish for”kaput”): “Thank you, USA.”

But, perhaps that is a bit of deflection. Poland has longstanding animus towards Nordstream. In other words, Poland has a clear motive for backing the destruction of the Russian pipeline.
